We are proud to announce that Virtus Wealth Management’s own, Josh Hubman, Wealth Management Assistant, has completed all requirements and has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® certification marks.
The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
Only 21% of all financial advisors in the industry can claim this distinction, according to a 2015 survey by Cerulli Associates, Inc. – a leading independent research company. We would urge those who have not yet laid out a long term financial plan, or have not updated your plan in several years, to reach out to us here at V&E Wealth Management to work with a certified and experienced financial planner. It is never too late to start planning.
